Date Day

Wyatt took me on a date yesterday to the temple!! It was awesome! The Oklahoma temple is itty-bitty! It was very very beautiful though! We got some pics of us outside of the temple, but of course, this computer/camera disslike eachother! haha. After the temple we went to this little small town restaurant that was awesome! It is only open thursday-saturday from 4:30-9:00. We arrived at 4:32 on our clock, and it was PACKED!! The food was good too! Nothing to rave about, but the atmosphere was fantastic! When we left at 5:30 there was quite the lineup! It was a fun day!

Today for fathers day we had Kyali's creme brulee french toast, but last night Wyatt told the girls that they should make him breakfast in bed...this morning they woke up and Hailey said that she would get cereal, which was just fine! I climbed out of bed to, "Ok Cass, you get the eggs!' I was too late! Eggs had spilled all over the floor. We saved a few of them though! The toast was fantastic btw!

Wyatt right now is making himself a pork roast for dinner, and in a few mins we are going to open presents! Stay tuned to see pics of him opening his fantastic gift!!

Saturday Outings

Saturdays are the best days of the week here at this house! Wyatt has no school/work, we get to have him the whole day! No interruptions or anything! Today we chose to go to Walmart and get some new pillows. Wyatt has some rash on his face and we are going to see if this helps to clear it up/disscontiue it! After shopping with some whiney kids, we came home to have lunch and take naps. Guess which one didn't happen! Hailey was in our room and then decided to get into carmex. She got into it good! All over herself. Her lips, arms, legs, face. The bottle was empty. So Cassidy and her bathed for a few hours. They enjoyed it! Wyatt napped while they bathed and I got some laundry and other things done!

After baths, we decided to go to the Cowboy Museum a block or so away from our house. It was pretty awesome! *note to self: next time, go kidless!* They had some beautiful pictures, paintings, and statues. They even had a statue of John Wayne! The best part of the whole museum was the kids section that they have. The girls and I dressed up in chaps, vests, and boots and went camping. They have an awesome little cabin for kids to go in, they have kids saddles that they could ride, they have a huge stuffed longhorn. (Wyatt decided that was the pet of choice for him when we have land!) It was pretty awesome.

My favorite thing was the yard/outside. They have streams, ponds, and waterfalls all over! It was the yard of my dreams! I told Wyatt that was exactly what I wanted! Soon enough we will have a house and a yard that I can do what I want with! It will be sweet! The neat part about the yard is they have a few animals buried there. They have a bull named Tornado who was only ever ridden the full 8 seconds once, and another animal namesd Poker Chip. I didn't get to read what it was due to sick hubbies and overtired toddlers. Thats ok though! One day it will be just Wyatt and me and we will read all we like and linger where we choose!

We came home and Wyatt suprised us with Pizza Hut for dinner and the movie Andre. (the one with the sea lion.) Kids are now in the tub again, gotta get that pizza and popcicles out of their hair, and then off to bed! Hopefully we wont see them again until 7:00am...but who knows.

Really random post. REALLY!

It is very very very humid today. I walked outside and came in looking as if I just got out of a pool. Ok, its not that extreme! It was pretty humid this morning though! A good 94% humidity.

We went to the zoo again today (finally we see the sun after a week and a half of flash flooding non stop!) and saw most of the animals. It was fairly warm and overcast, so it wasnt too bad. Hailey did have a spill though. We hadn't been at the zoo for more than 10 mins and she got so excited to show our friends the sea lions and ran into someone and skidded across the sidewalk and scraped her elbow up pretty bad. Shes a trooper though! She pulled through!

Our house lately has been starting horribly early. Cassidy thinks its funny to wake up at 6. Wyatt this week hasn't been getting home until 12:30-1:00 am. I haven't been sleeping so good (maybe its because I choose to be lazy and not get anything done except sit around all day!) and Hailey has been having mega meltdowns lately. Cassidy thinks its funny to start out the day bright and early! After all, the early bird gets the worm right? Not at this house! The early bird gets a kick in the pants! ;0) It wouldn't be so bad if Hailey woke up at 6 as well. Poor girl gets woken up by her sister, doesn't nap during the day, and by 5 pm is a totaly basket case! I think I am going to move Hailey in to my room tonight and see if she will sleep a little longer! Another thing, Cassidy is a basket case by 5pm too! I dont know what to do! Maybe now that the sun is out I need to wear them out a little bit outside...

So now is my dillema. Do I allow Cassidy to take naps and suffer through? Or do I keep her up and see if she sleeps through the mornings? I mean at least until 7. I can function if the clock reads 7.  Ugh.

Each child is so different. Wyatt and I were talking today and he said that he remembered taking Hailey to math class with him when she was Cassidys age. We both chuckled imagining him taking Cassidy to math class. Or anywhere. I guess it is good to have a good kid right off the bat and then she can teach the other children how to act and to obey.

I finally got to go to the temple here on Wednesday. In Relief Society they announced that there was a temple group and they were going to go to the temple and to meet at the church by 9:30. I was excited! I didn't know where the temple was and I thought it would be good to go and meet some sisters in the ward. It was me and one other lady. Thats ok though! Wyatt was able to stay home with the girls and spend some much needed time with them. *they bawl every night wanting their daddy!* I have to say, this temple was BEAUTIFUL! So very small and cute! Thats how I described it to Wyatt when I got home. Cute. haha. It was really very pretty though! I had a good experience and I hope that I'm able to go again while we are here! I want to be able to go to as many temples as I can go to! I have already been to Provo, Mesa, Cardston, Ogden, Logan, and now Oklahoma. I told Wyatt that we should plan a date every month to go to a different temple in Utah. We could get to so many different ones! It would be awesome! The next closest one here is in Dallas. I dont know if I will have a chance to get there! 4 hours away..I do want to be able to go to the temples on the way to Canada sometime. See if we could make it an extra day or so to stop and do a session.

Anyways this post is so very random! I guess I had a lot of different things to say! Remember: keep fit and have fun! ;0)

New home and Miracles

Our new house: Oklahoma City Zoo

So the girls and I have bought a zoo pass, and so far its paid off! We have been to the zoo every day so far this week! *minus yesterday when it was flash flooding!* The nice thing about it, is that we can spend 2 hours and not see everything, go the next day and discover something new! Nevermind the fact that the zoo is a few blocks away from the house!

The girls do have their favorites. The sea lions and the gorillas. They sat alone with a baby orangutang today before anyone else came in, and the baby was playing with them. Hailey and Cassidy would be putting their hands on the glass and he would reach up and put his hands on theirs. It was cute! Too bad I didn't bring my camera today though! We discovered the bears today! I think there is only a few things that we haven't gone into and seen yet. Saturday we are planning a trip with Wyatt so that should be fun! We'll see how long we will last!

Miracles: Poop

Yes, poop is a miracle! For this reason: Cassidy and Hailey were in the tub and Cassidy kept saying, "Poop, potty!" Normaly she just says that and I stick her on the pot and she immediately says, "I'm done!" without doing anything. Not today. I sat her on the pot and she pooped! YAY! We made a huge deal of it, she was a little scared when Hailey was screaming how excited she was, but the best part was when Wyatt came in and she glowed! She even asked him for a high five! I don't know if this makes me want to start the potty training again, but it gives me hope!!

Another miracle, I didn't have to clean poop out of the tub! ;0)

Hairdo's

I was trying to find a cute way to do the girls hair today, and I stumbled across this website. I would love to try all of them, and maybe one day I will!! I did do my girls hair cute today, with flowers in them and everything! The website has nice hairstyles for girls with long hair, like Hailey, so I just made something up for Cassidy and her so called hair. I think it turned out cute though! Too bad my camera isn't loading anything up on this computer!! Im in need of a computer geek to help me figure this out!

Today we are going to go and see the Easter Bunny at the mall and then tonight for FHE we are going to learn about Easter and colour eggs! It will be fun! Im excited! I'll be sure to take pictures, the only problem is that they won't load! ARG! One day there will be a huge picture post I promise!

We made it to Oklahoma late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. It was a LONG drive. LONG. Not really looking forward to the drive home. Except its 3 hours shorter...that might be ok...maybe not.

I have some pictures on my camera, they just dont want to be uploaded onto the computer!! I will try to figure that out and then we can get some pics of life on here!!

Thanks again Dad for coming with us and putting up with "Bear Hunts" for 26 hours!! Love ya!

Edmonton Happenings

The girls and I went up to Edmonton last week to visit my older sister Sarah and her husband and my younger sister Amanda. We had SO MUCH FUN! Already wanting to go back to have fun again! Here is pictures of how much fun we had!

She rocked them!

Cassidy was a little unsure...

Then decided that they were fun!

All of us (except me, I'm taking the pic!!) at Moxie's!

Amanda. Can you see how much fun I had just by looking at these faces!?!?!

Kylie and Hailey.

JUMP!!

Kylie and Cassidy swimming in the freezing cold water!

Cassidy being a spaz! We spiked her hair. I have a picture kind of like this with Hailey when she was little, but its no where to be found!

Love the dimple in this one!

Me and my girls in the whales mouth at West Ed.

This is my sister Kylie and our brother in law Darren. After the pictures were taken, we decided that this looked like a family picture!

Too much fun! Fell asleep in the van on the way home!

Crazy banana girl!

Crazy copy cat girl!

Best Zoo EVER!!

The girls, Kylie, and I went to the Calgary Zoo on Friday! Seriously the BEST ever! You name it they have it!! We spent a good 4 hours at the zoo, and hurried through the last part because we were tired! You could spend a whole day there and not be bored!!

What I love about the Calgary zoo is that its got a Dinosaur park thing in it. Hailey LOVED it! Its not as good as Ogdens, in fact, all of the dinosaurs were old and falling apart, but still. It was awesome!

It was a beautiful day! It started out a little bit chilly, but then warmed up enough to just be in sweaters and not worry abut our coats.

Here is Hailey really close to an anteater. Its amazing to think that we could have touched so many animals if there wasnt any glass in the way!

A new thing that they put in the zoo was a Ray tank. They had a few rays and all they did was go in circles. They have them in the same area as the elephants. It was neat!

as

Ok, first of all I ADORE tigers. I think they are absolutely GORGEOUS! They had 3 of them at the zoo. This one was asleep behind the glass, but check out how close we were! SWEET!

w
Then we went around and this guy was awesome. He was pacing back and forth trying to find a place to lay down. Man, he was beautiful!

This is him again. I love tigers!

e

Here is Kylie and Cassidy chasing a duck that was out randomly!

They had a neat playground that we didn't have time to stop at, but they had this kangaroo statue that the girls climbed in! My little joeys!

Cassidy was liking the turtle there behind her, but right as I snapped the picture she decided she liked something else!

The rainforest part was cool! Very humid and warm. They had gorillas there. The baby is a few months old I believe.

They have a place where you can climb up and look down on the gorillas. This baby looked right up at us!! It was AWESOME!

We went down the stairs and this little baby came right up to the window. If there was no glass we could have held her!

Mommy monkey and baby playing!

Dad just chillin!

This is the water that the hippos were in. The fish were HUGE!

The giraffes and the hippos were in the same area, just different cages. The hippos were closer. See how close Hailey is to the fence where the hippos are! AHH! It was awesome!

Just like the Hogle zoo, Calgary has a baby giraffe too!!

This is why I wanted to go! I LOVE hippos! They have redone the hippo part since I was there YEARS ago! We went around and came up to this guy, but there was another one in the water. We didn't know that he was there or I would have tried to get picks of him in the water. He came out of the water though and it was awesome! They have warning signs at the zoo too. I should have taken a picture!! It said "Stay back, we like to mark our territory! You might get sprayed!" We were lucky enough to be there when this guy "sprayed" his territory (fling his poo with his tail! GROSS!) and even luckier to not get hit by it!!

The worker was spraying water, cleaning up the poo and was spraying it into the hippos mouths! They loved it!

Look at the size of their mouths!! Their teeth are pretty nasty too!

The two of them were HUGE! SOOO FAT! And SOO CLOSE! WE could reach out and be inches from touching them!

Cute little ears!

Of course my silly little self didn't charge the camera, and the batteries ran dead before we finished in the African side. They had a male lion and 3 lionesses, and a few zebras. Then we went to the "Canadian Wilderness" side. They had moose, wolves, eagles, mule deer, buffalo(which I was upset about because they were supposed to have a white buffalo, but no where in sight! Sad I know!) The pictures from all of those animals are with Kylie on her camera.

We got back to Cardston and I asked Hailey what her favorite thing about the zoo was. Her clever little self answered, "Uhh, the animals." Haha. What a goof!

The zoo was the last thing we did before coming home! I have more pics from Edmonton! Get excited!
